According to recent data from CoinGecko, nearly half of the largest crypto airdrops, including tokens like Ethereum Name Service, Blur, and LooksRare, have experienced their peak prices within just two weeks of being publicly listed. Since 2020, there has been a surge in interest in airdrops, often distributed through participation in pre-launch activities or promotional efforts within blockchain networks. CoinGecko's findings highlight that out of the top 50 airdrops analysed, 46% saw their token prices reach their highest point within the initial two weeks after launch. This underscores the importance of timing and quick action for those looking to capitalise on the potential gains from newly airdropped tokens.
