On August 28, 2024, DecideAI achieved a significant milestone by deploying OpenAI's GPT-2 model fully on the Internet Computer (ICP) blockchain. This marks the first time an AI model has been hosted entirely on-chain. The deployment serves as a stepping stone for more sophisticated decentralised AI models, with potential applications in healthcare, finance, and education. By utilising blockchain, DecideAI aims to address issues related to trust, privacy, and transparency in AI training and deployment. This project could lead to interoperable AI systems across various blockchains like Ethereum and Solana, further integrating AI with decentralised platforms.
