The former employee accused of exploiting the memecoin platform Pump.fun for $1.9 million allegedly claimed he was arrested in the United Kingdom and is now out on bail. The individual, identified as Jarett Dunn, reportedly posted on X that he was charged with "theft from employer" for $2 million and conspiracy to steal an additional $80 million, and was released on bail and mental health sectioned. Dunn claimed he is currently being held in a hospital and is posting from an iPad issued to him. However, the London Metropolitan Police Service stated that it does not disclose information regarding individuals who may or may not have been arrested. Pump.fun and the private intelligence firm purportedly involved in locating Dunn have not responded to requests for comment.
