Binance has introduced a unique campaign with the release of a luxury scent called "Crypto," which the exchange describes as blending finance with fragrance. While the scent isn't available for sale, Binance plans to offer it at pop-up stands in a Bahrain shopping mall. The campaign aims to engage with the public on perceptions of crypto, utilising an unconventional approach to attract more women into the industry. This initiative, spearheaded by Binance's female marketing leaders and launched ahead of International Women’s Day, includes offering $25 in USDT to the first 5,000 women who complete a beginner course on Binance Academy. The company sees this as an opportunity to encourage more women to participate in the crypto revolution. However, amidst the playful marketing, the legal issues surrounding Binance, including former CEO Changpeng Zhao's upcoming sentencing and Binance.US facing challenges following a lawsuit from the SEC, highlight the complexities and controversies in the crypto world.
