RAIN Platforms is in the business of developing and providing it’s Users access to competitive gaming (each a “Game”) which allows Users to experience and learn about the financial markets. Depending on the jurisdiction, RAIN Platforms offers two categories of games:
Paid Games: Paid Games are those games where Users pay an Entry Fee, as defined in our Terms of Service, and if successful Users will be able to play and participate and win cryptocurrency in skill based Games (“Winnings”). PLAYERS RESIDING IN RESTRICTED ARES SUCH AS THE UNITED STATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY PAID GAMES. Users who play Paid Games will be referred to as “Players”
Free Games: Users in certain Restricted Ares such as the United States of America will only have access to the unpaid or free version of our Games (“Free Games”). Users of Unpaid Games will not have pay any entry fee and will be ineligible to make any Winnings. The provision of such Unpaid Games are solely for entertainment and educational purposes.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

You may also add a photograph to your profile, but it is not mandatory and not adding such photograph or audio file will not change the user’s experience. Financial Information. We currently do not collect or store any credit cards or bank information, as we are using a third-party payment processor. KYC related Information for Players of Paid Games.
THIS SECTION 3(C) APPLIES ONLY TO PLAYERS OF PAID GAMES.
We currently are using third-party KYC Partners (each a “KYC Partner”) to perform Know Your Customer compliance checks (“KYC”) for our Users who play Paid Games. Our KYC Partners’ information is available at https://sumsub.com/privacy-notice-service/. Our KYC Partner, as part of the KYC process may ask you to submit upload a picture of your government-issued photo identification document such as a passport, driving license, residence permit, or national ID card, etc. (each a “KYC Document”). Please note that the specific requirements for KYC compliance can vary depending on the regulations in the state or jurisdiction where you are residing and our KYC Partner’s discretion is operating. The KYC Partner will verify the authenticity of the KYC Document and may share the extracted KYC Document details and final authenticity results with us. We will retain this information for the period that you maintain an account with us, or as otherwise required by law.
We use commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your KYC and other Personal Information against loss or unauthorized access, use, modification, or deletion. However, no security program is foolproof, and thus RAIN Platforms cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information or other information.
Our KYC Partner is also responsible for conducting checks on Users located outside the US to determine compliance with sanctions lists maintained by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”), and other global sanctions lists, and may seek additional information and data from you in this regard. All information collected, processed, or stored by the KYC Partner on behalf of RAIN Platforms for Users is referred henceforth as “KYC Information.”

Social Media Information. We allow log-ins and account creation via social media handles such as Facebook, Gmail, Apple Id (“Social Media Sites”), in which case once the user creates an account for our Services we will use the User’s email id and limited profile information, including User’s profile pictures and images from such social media sites.
Game-Play Data. We collect data related to (i) the Games played by the Users, such as number of Games played, time spent playing each Game, or name of Game played (“Game-Play Data”); and (ii) for Users of Paid Games, commercial purchase information for the transactions or purchases made by the User on our Website or App, such as deposit added by the User to User’s Wallet, Pre-Specified Contribution for participating in each Game or Winnings on each Game won in a particular game, etc. (“Transaction Data”). HOW DO WE PROTECT INFORMATION WE COLLECT?
Our Website and App receive regular security scans and penetration tests. Our Website and App also receive regular malware scans. In addition, our Website and App use an SSL certificate as an added security measure. We require username and passwords for our employees who can access your personal information that we store and/or process on our Platform and servers. In addition, we actively prevent third parties from getting access to your personal information that we store and/or process on our Platform and servers. We accept payment through a third party processor on our behalf.
